Richard N. Atkinson Memorial Award

One of the goals of the JAVMA is to support the veterinary profession and the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VMRCVM).

One of the ways we do this is by awarding a scholarship to a VMRCVM student from our area in honor of JAVMA founder, Dr. Dick Atkinson.

The Richard N. Atkinson Memorial Award for 2009- 2010 was awarded to Erica Kirsch. In the phot below, Erica is receiving the award from Dr. Anne Zajac.
